On Wednesday, May 27, Director of the White House Office of Health Reform Nancy-Ann DeParle hosted a Health Care Stakeholder Discussion with physicians from around the country to hear from doctors who are on the front lines of the country’s health care crisis.
On Wednesday, May 13, Secretary Sebelius and Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement Tina Tchen hosted a roundtable discussion with women small business owners at Stitch, a yarn store in Washington, DC.
On Tuesday, May 12, President Obama held a meeting in the Roosevelt Room with employers to discuss innovative workplace practices that improve the health of workers and reduce the rising rate of health care spending.
On Monday, May 11, President Obama met with health care stakeholders in the Roosevelt Room at the White House who agreed to do their part to decrease the annual health care spending growth rate by 1.5 percentage points – saving $2 trillion or more.
